ABOUT THE brand
Orchard Outdoor Living exists for the homeowner who sees their land the way we do — as the most underused room of the house. We design it whole: outdoor kitchens engineered for serious cooking, gathering spaces that hold a crowd well past midnight, gardens and homesteads that earn their keep, and grounds shaped for movement, play, and the kind of health that only comes from living outside.
This is where artistry meets engineering. We read grade and drainage, sun and soil, structure and flow before we ever draw a beautiful line — because beauty that can't be built is only a sketch. Few designers understand the land at this level. Fewer still understand why it matters.
We do, because we live it. Ours is a home with the grill always hot, the table always full, and the screens always off. We're not selling a lifestyle we read about — we're sharing the one we've built. And we want the same for you.

THE PRINCIPAL
I'm Haley. Designer. Mom. Happiest with a hot grill, a full table, and a yard full of kids who play til the streetlights come on. I've built my life around raising a family outdoors — real food, fresh air, active days, and the easy connection that follows. I design so other families can do the same. I'm always chasing beauty, wellness, and a richer life lived outside.
Haley Tew didn't stumble into outdoor design — she was formally trained for it. With education in both interior design and landscape architecture, and 20 years designing outdoor living spaces, she brings a rare combination to every project: an interior designer's eye for beauty and detail, paired with a landscape architect's command of how a space lives, flows, and grows.
She's also a licensed general contractor — which means she understands precisely how these spaces come together. Rather than building each project herself, Haley partners with trusted local builders, speaking their language and protecting your vision so the finished space matches the one you fell in love with on paper.
At her core, Haley is driven by family. She believes the best childhoods happen outside, and she worries about what screens are doing to all of us. Her mission is simple: design beautiful, screen-free spaces that bring families back together — the kind of backyard every kid wants to come to, where the fun is endless and the grill is always hot.
